Coffee farming life is characterized by coffee plantations surrounded by a wide diversity of animal and plant species. Altitude range goes with an estimate of 1000 to 1800 meters above sea level, covering many towns around Páramo district.

This is coffee that grows around the area of Costa Rica’s highest mountain, Chirripó. This locality has an altitude range between 1000 and 2100 meters above sea level, some of its most remarkable characteristics are the steep hills in which communities have settled for years. Coffee farmers' lifestyle comprehends breathing exceptionally clean air, enjoying crystal waters, and witnessing a constant mixture of sunlight and rainfall during the year.
